Mini Staycation at Talking Stick Resort

Gabe and I were supposed to meet my parents up at their cabin this weekend to relax before attending the 4th of July rodeo on the 4th but due to an un-contained wildfire, we were confined to the city. What did we do instead? We booked a hotel room at a resort on the other side of town, tried my pregnancy luck at gambling, and soaked in some sun at the pool! Gambling didn't go so well but the pool and our hotel room was lovely! We were the second from the top floor and we had a view of the golf course out of our "wall of windows." The entire wall was one big sliding door! The best part was that we paid almost half of the going rate for a regular hotel room and ended up with an Executive Suite - score!
